Our lawyers generally work on hourly basis. Rates vary according to the specific case, and within a case itself as to the nature of the service required. Relevant criteria are the nature, significance, complexity and responsibility involved.
We also propose tailored and individual arrangements for treating various cases or several cases of similar nature.
An estimate including lawyers’ fees, administrative costs as well as court costs and other public charges is established in advance in coordination with the client and then invoiced.
In Portugal the application of quota-litis is not allowed, neither is the principle “no cure, no pay”. There also is no similarity with the German “RVG“ as far as litigation work is concerned.
Generally, before we start working on a case, an advance deposit is required which is subsequently accounted.
Our office management assures full cost transparency.
